Mile 27 creates apparel from the finish lines that matter most. We transform race-day ponchos into thoughtfully made garments, giving them a second life and letting every runner carry their story forward.

Each garment is hand-crafted in New York by our small production team.

Ordering & Customization

When will I get my order?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
How does personalization work?

You can add a name, nickname, mantra, or race detail to your garment. At checkout, you’ll be asked to confirm the exact spelling and formatting — we print precisely what you submit.
Can I change my personalization after placing an order?

No. Because each garment is custom-made and production begins quickly, we cannot accept any changes once the order is placed. Please carefully verify all details before submitting your order.
Can I order a garment without personalization?

Yes! You can choose a clean, non-printed version.

Sending in Your Poncho

Do I have to send my own poncho?

Yes — your original race poncho becomes the material for your garment. It’s what makes every piece unique.
What if my poncho has damage or low-quality printing when I send it in?

Some ponchos arrive with thin silk screening or battle scars from race day. We’ll handle them with care, but we cannot guarantee the preservation of existing printing or artwork. You’ll acknowledge this at checkout.
How do I ship my poncho to you?

Once your order is confirmed, we’ll send you a return kit that includes a poly mailer and a prepaid shipping label. Just place your poncho inside, drop it off, and we’ll take it from there.

Production & Shipping

What is the turnaround time?

Production can take up to 12 weeks from the moment we receive your poncho. Timelines vary based on volume, and once we have your garment in hand, we can provide a more accurate estimate.
Do the garments have pockets?

Yes. Both the Finish Line Vest and the Long Run Jacket include pockets
How are orders prioritized?

All garments are produced in the order they are received. We do not offer rush orders or expedited production.
Why does production take up to 12 weeks?

Each garment is individually crafted from your unique poncho. High-demand periods — especially major race seasons — can increase production time.
Do you provide timeline updates?

Yes. After your poncho is received and added to our queue, we’ll share an estimated completion window.
Do you ship internationally?

Yes! International shipping rates are calculated at checkout.

Sizing & Fit

What sizes do you offer?

XS–2XL. Our garments are designed with a relaxed, easy fit. See our size chart for detailed measurements.
What if I need a size outside the XS–2XL range?

If you need a size not listed or require a special sizing accommodation, email us at support@mile27.com. We’ll review your request and do our best to accommodate based on available materials and capacity.
How do I choose the right size?

If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a relaxed fit or down for a more tailored feel.

Care Instructions

How do I clean my Mile 27 garment?

Your garment is made from 100% polyester. Please follow these care guidelines:

  • Machine wash cold
  • Gentle cycle with like colors
  • Do not bleach
  • Do not iron
  • Hang dry in shade

Because each garment is crafted from upcycled ponchos, we recommend washing with care to maintain the material and personalization.

Sustainability

How does Mile 27 support sustainability?

We upcycle ponchos that would typically be discarded after race day, giving them new life and reducing environmental waste.

Returns and Exchanges

Do you accept returns?

Because each garment is custom-made from your personal poncho, all sales are final.
What if there’s an issue with my order?

If something feels off, reach out within 7 days of receiving your garment. We’ll always do our best to help.

Events & In-Person Orders

Can I drop off my poncho at an in-person event?

Yes! At select events we offer on-site drop-off. You’ll need to sign a waiver acknowledging personalization accuracy and poncho-condition limitations.
